ghost writing and books

Show the world your personality

The role of a ghost is to add value, while capturing the voice and views of the client. That means building up a rapport, asking the right questions and doing the research.

Why is this important to you? How will it impact real people?

Writing in the style and tone of a business leader is immensely rewarding, as it invariably reveals a fascinating insight and allows the interviewee to speak at leisure. I will then write up the article or case study, which can be vetted and revised in partnership with the marketing team or interviewee.

Recently, I ghosted a 70,000-word book for a leading CEO in the US – and I am open to taking on similar, longer-form assignments.

Clients: Grant Thornton, Expleo, Mott MacDonald, Everledger, The Berkeley Partnership

“I have worked with Ian across a range of projects, and have always been impressed by his ability to identify the underlying essence of the client and the task at hand, and then to produce copy to perfectly match our needs."

"Ian has done cricket a great and rather surprising service..." Henry Blofeld
